The National Youth Pastor for the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Daniel Olawande, has taken to social media to warn people who have been raining curses on the founder of the church, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye.
According to him, many had accused Daddy Adeboye for not publicly supporting a political candidate during the just concluded elections and had caused a fuss among some youths.
With reference to a long explanatory epistle written on his official Twitter handle on the 22nd of March 2023, the P.Daniel had stated that since he knew Daddy Adeboye and that he has always preached the messages of holiness, salvation, rapture and humility. Hence, he is not one to force anyone to change.
One of the threads of the tweet reads thus:
"That someone does something doesn't mean every other person should. You talk against RCCG & pastor Adeboye because He didn't publicly endorsed a candidate, No, he won't, because he pastors members from ALL POLITICAL PARTIES, as a father the best is to encourage them to vote."
He further warns aggressive people sternly to never take the church's quietness for granted. This was how the post went:
"But let me warn anyone that curses Daddy Pastor EA Adeboye, That we are meek and quiet does not mean we are fools o. If you provoke us Further by cursing our father, we will come for you. You will be shocked that we are not few. Our father is not your toothpick o"
Pastor Daniel Olawande concluded by saying assuredly once again that their mentor, Daddy Adeboye, has never publicly endorsed a candidate and never will he.
